Class Content:

In this course, you will learn pronunciation (which is not difficult), how to introduce yourself, writing your name in Japanese, the initial writing script of Hiragana, and basic sentence and question structures that lead to holding beginning level conversations, such as where is xyz, how is xyz, do you like xyz, etc.

Ages:   16 ~ Adult

Dates:  Tuesdays, Jan 15 ~ Apr 9, 2019

Time:   7:00pm ~ 8:00pm

Location:  St. Anthony Catholic High School, Classroom #208,

                3200 McCullough Ave, San Antonio, TX

Registration: The registration link will close 2 weeks after the start of classes, on January 29th. Registration after that will require the permission of the instructor.

Class:  Class minimum is 4 and maximum is 15 participants.

Textbook: Genki Vol 1 (ISBN 978-4-7890-1440-3); available from Amazon, B&N, etc.

Instructor:  Mr. Roger Pratt, who graduated from Sophia University (上智大学国際部) in Tokyo, lived in Japan for 19 years, and has previously taught Japanese for JASSA and at UTSA.
