TOMODACHI Initiative


The TOMODACHI Initiative is a public-private partnership, born out of support for Japan’s recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake, that invests in the next generation of Japanese and American leaders through educational and cultural exchanges as well as leadership programs.


JASSA is proud to be a part of the TOMODACHI Initiative with the Japan America Society of Kumamoto (JASK).


To practice our most safest cautions, we have decided to cancel the TOMODACHI project for the summer of 2020. We intend postpone until 2021, but it will depend on many factors. Thank you to all that applied and had interest.
