If so, you've come to the right place! We will be offering the following Japanese language classes for ages 16~adults in Spring, 2021. All classes are evenings, every Tuesday, Jan 26th~April 13st, and will be online via Zoom.
Adult Beginning Level I
In this course, you will learn pronunciation (which is not difficult), how to introduce yourself, writing your name in Japanese, and basic sentence and question structures that lead to holding beginning level conversations, such as where is xyz, how is xyz, do you like xyz, etc., the initial writing script of Hiragana, and just a few kanji.6:00 p.m.
Adult Beginning Level II
IThis class is a continuation of the Level I class. In this course, we will further build on the basic sentences, questions, and vocabulary from the Level I class, develop sentence/question structures, verb conjugation, counting, and start some informal patterns. We will very briefly review pronunciation and hiragana and introduce a few more kanji.7:15 p.m.

Instructor Roger Pratt lived in Japan for 19 years, got his undergraduate degree at Jochi Daigaku (Sophia University), Tokyo; a Master's in East Asian Studies at FSU; and previously taught Japanese at UTSA.
